How long will the bull market last? One very simple thing to keep an eye on is log scale diagonal support. In 2016, we maintained bull market diagonal support. From March-June 2017, the two pivots increased the steepness of the diagonal support, which is to be expected as the bull market becomes more aggressive later in the cycle. That diagonal was then lost, signalling a shift in momentum and the start of the bear market. We have less of a "shift" in aggression this time round, but as the asset class matures, volatility decreases, so that may be why. However, I consider us in a bull market until these diagonals are lost. $BTC
