Across Rejects Allegations of Embezzling $23 Million and Manipulating Voting from Glue Founder.
On June 27, Hart Lambur – co-founder of Across Protocol – issued an official statement completely denying all allegations made by the Glue founder, including embezzling $23 million and manipulating the project's DAO governance process.
Hart stated that Risk Labs – the non-profit organization behind Across – is registered under Cayman Islands law. The mentioned funds were used appropriately to support the development of the Across protocol, specifically versions v3 and v4. Hart affirmed that his annual salary is only $100,000 and he has not received any additional token bonuses from the project.
In response to the allegation of "internal voting manipulation in the DAO", Hart asserted that all team members have the right to use tokens they purchased to participate in voting, just like any other DAO member. He cited that Kevin's wallet (maxodds.eth) is completely transparent, Reinis' votes are valid, the related proposal was passed without any opposing votes, and the entire process was transparent.
Previously, Ogle – the founder of Glue project – posted on social media, accusing the team behind Across Protocol of exploiting privacy rights to manipulate DAO voting and embezzling approximately $23 million from the protocol's treasury.
