“Mine Bitcoin Bread”… Bithumb Experience Zone a Hit [Bitcoin Seoul 2025]

The 'Bitcoin Seoul 2025' event was held on the 5th at the Signiel Seoul in Songpa-gu, Seoul. A long line formed in front of the Bithumb booth at the venue. In this experience zone inspired by mining, participants could receive 'Bitcoin Bread' directly.



The experience starts with downloading the Bithumb application and completing membership registration. After entering the benefits zone in the application and completing attendance check, a golden coin with the 'B' symbolizing Bitcoin is provided. It depicts a digital gold. When this coin is inserted into the gas fee container, mining begins.

Gas fee is a fee that occurs during blockchain transactions. It was notable that the concept was designed to be easily understood by unfamiliar people. When the coin is inserted, bread is baked instantly and served in a paper container labeled 'Hot Wallet'. This is a direct adoption of the hot wallet concept, which means a virtual asset wallet connected online. More than 150 visitors visited the Bithumb booth that day. A Bithumb official said, "Participants were more interested in the Bitcoin coin than the bread," conveying the participants' passionate interest in Bitcoin.

On the same day, Smashpay, a Bitcoin automatic purchase company, also operated a booth at the venue. Smashpay is a service that purchases Bitcoin on Binance on behalf of the user when USDT is deposited. Automatic purchase can be set daily, weekly, or monthly according to the desired price conditions. A Smashpay official said, "Many financial industry officials visited the booth" and "There was high interest in the revenue structure and product design method." On the same day, the Bitcoin wallet Wallet of Satoshi also operated a booth at the venue.
