It is reported that Maxine Waters and 14 other Democratic co-sponsors proposed the "Stop Trading, Retention, and Unfair Market Payoffs in Crypto Act of 2025" on Thursday afternoon. The bill aims to prohibit the president, vice president, congressional members, and their immediate family members from "holding a proportion of digital assets sufficient to unilaterally change digital assets", along with other related provisions.
