According to Lookonchain's monitoring, today ten US Bit ETFs saw a net outflow of 1288 BTC (USD 124.38 million), of which Bitwise saw an outflow of 1198 BTC (USD 115.65 million), and Bitwise currently holds 39954 BTC (USD 386 million); nine Eth ETFs saw a net inflow of 934 ETH (USD 2.55 million), of which Fidelity saw an inflow of 1749 ETH (USD 4.77 million), and Fidelity currently holds 458653 ETH (USD 125 million).

Odaily reports that according to a report by K33 Research head Vetle Lunde, as of December 31 last year, institutional investors held 25.4% of the assets under management (AUM) of spot Bitcoin ETFs, totaling $26.8 billion. Between the third and fourth quarters of 2024, the percentage of Bitcoin ETF AUM held by institutions grew by 113%. Additionally, the proportion of AUM held by institutions grew by 4.1% quarter-over-quarter, with the total amount jumping 69% to $78.8 billion by the end of the fourth quarter. According to Lunde's data, the number of investors gaining Bitcoin exposure through ETFs reached 1,576 last quarter, a 37.4% quarterly increase and a 68.2% annual increase. Furthermore, institutional interest in BlackRock's IBIT grew by more than 4 times in 2024. By the end of the fourth quarter last year, institutions reported holding $16 billion in IBIT shares, up from less than $4 billion at the end of the first quarter.
